I teach reading and ESL at community colleges in the Los Angeles area. I’m married with a baby boy.

I love to read photographs and take my own.

I’m always thinking about how to better understand reality.

I have a great community at church, close friends and family.

I love a good, challenging discussion, especially about how to connect ideas with real life. I keep coming back to theology. Theology, as it strives to describe things of God, should be transformative and done in purity and love (Matthew 5:8, I Corinthians 13).

Can you really know anything about God if you don’t really know God?

“A theologian is one who prays, and one who prays is a theologian” -Evagrius Ponticus (On Prayer).

I have a precious friend in Indiana who has the same “job” you do. Unfortunately, she does not do the computer, so I don’t get to do the email thing with her as much as I would like. Thanks for that little quote, I will be looking up Evagrius Ponticus.

Well, well, well, the reason I had not heard of Evagrius is that he had been declared a heretic, thank you for the introduction!!!
